    Taylor student arrested after alleged threat to security officer

    Police arrested a Taylor High School student Wednesday morning after he allegedly threatened to shoot a security officer.

    The student, 15, was carrying a handgun, according to a news release. 

    Responding officers found a loaded pistol with the serial numbers filed off in a fanny pack around the student’s waist. 

    The student has been taken into custody at the police station, pending transportation to Wayne county juvenile detention center.

    No other students or staff were threatened or injured by the student.
